So erstellst du eine Bilanz: Eine Bilanz ist ein finanzielles Dokument, das die Vermögenswerte, Schulden und das Eigenkapital eines Unternehmens zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt zeigt. Im Gegensatz zur Gewinn- und Verlustrechnung, die einen Zeitraum abdeckt, ist die Bilanz ein Momentaufnahme an einem bestimmten Tag. Die meisten Unternehmen erstellen ihre Bilanzen quartalsweise und jährlich.

Wie man eine Bilanz erstellt
Um eine Bilanz zu erstellen, brauchst du natürlich alle finanziellen Daten aus deinen verschiedenen Kontenauszügen. Eigentlich beginnen die Informationen bei den einzelnen Geschäftsvorfällen, aber dieser Artikel zeigt dir nur, wie du eine Bilanz strukturierst.

Zuerst einmal hat eine Bilanz zwei Seiten: rechts und links. Auf der linken Seite stehen deine Aktiva. Auf der rechten Seite gibt es zwei Abschnitte: Passiva und Eigenkapital. Die linke und rechte Seite sind immer gleich, und die Hauptgleichung der Bilanz lautet:

Aktiva = Passiva + Eigenkapital
Das ergibt Sinn, weil die Aktiva auf der linken Seite stehen und immer dem entsprechen, was auf der rechten Seite steht – also der Summe aus Passiva und Eigenkapital.
