Privacy policy

HD Tutorial has no user accounts, no newsletter and no comment form. We collect as little information as possible.
1. Data controller
The site hdtutorial.com is operated by HD Tutorial. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, write to [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Server logs: like every website, our servers record technical data (IP address, date, requested page, browser) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are kept for a limited period and are not used for advertising.
- Audience measurement: we use Google Analytics 4 (through Google Tag Manager) and Statcounter to understand which tutorials are useful. These tools may set cookies and receive your IP address; we use the statistics only in aggregate form.
- Search queries: what you type in the search box is used to show results and is not linked to your identity.
3. YouTube videos
The YouTube player is not loaded when you open a page: you first see a still image. Only when you click “play” is the video loaded from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode). From then on, Google’s privacy policy applies to the player.
4. Infrastructure
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and may process technical data (such as IP addresses) for that purpose. Video thumbnails are served by YouTube’s image servers (i.ytimg.com).
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can request access to, correction or deletion of personal data concerning you, and object to its processing. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings or use a tracker blocker without losing access to the site. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
