Today we’re bleeding the brakes on our GSXR. In the video, John shows you how to bleed both the front and rear brakes on our GSX-R1000. Unlike some of the other machines we’ve worked with, the process involves bleeding the brakes at the caliper and also at the front master cylinder. We’ll bleed the brakes using a manual process, but we’ll also show you how to bleed the brakes using a Mityvac to speed the process along.

So first, bleed the brakes up on the handlebar at the master cylinder.

Then, bleed the front brakes at the calipers on both sides of the front wheel.

Finally, bleed the brakes at the rear caliper.
