Simple to follow, we tried clearly explain how to perform the engine compression test. Ste by step tutorial will help you to do the test easy and accurate as possible. As example vehicle, we done compression test on Volkswagen Golf MK 4 generation but pretty much the same procedures applied to all gasoline vehicles with make and model variations.
In a compression test we are looking for the pressure consistency and different between the cylinders. Wet test allows us to isolate the compression problem rather that is a issue with valve or the piston rings (cylinder bore walls).
