How to Clean Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) on BMW - For Smooth Idle

In BMW terminology - Hot Film Air Mass Meter - which is also known as a MAF or mass air flow sensor is an important part of your air intake system on the car. It allows for proper ration of air to fuel and smooth function of the engine. In this video I use a MAF cleaner to remove grit and build up from the sensor. Some people will use WD-40 and other cleaning products, but I suggest getting the real deal as it's only a few bucks and will do the job right. The job was performed on a BMW Z4 e89 N20 engine.
