How to Install a 350z Trailer Hitch

I have a Nissan 350Z and a garage full of motorcycles and sometimes I like to travel cross-country to places like US Hwy 129/Tail of the Dragon/Deals Gap for some really nice driving roads. Its a long distance, and I want to take both the car and at least one of my motorcycles to drive on these fun roads, so it came time to install a trailer hitch to tow a trailer for the bikes. 350z towing trailer makes sense!

My 350Z's new ability to tow a trailer has also proven itself useful when I needed to replace a water heater recently as well as performing various other waste disposal and homeowner tasks.

(despite the fact that it says it only works for a 2006 350Z, it will work for all years 350Z coupe.)
DO NOT GET A Curt 11483 FOR A 350Z, it will not fit even if the Curt website says so, a 11483 only fits an Infinity G35 trailer hitch.

Curt Harness/Tailight Converter ▶ amzn.to/2zxHgAX

(Recommended on all 350Z, but absolutely mandatory if you have LED tailights. I used this because it is powered and offloads vehicle lighting and isolates trailer lighting to its own fuse.)

Harbor Freight trailer ball 1572 or 31220 (1-7/8" or 2" ball respectively, check the coupler on your trailer tongue for specs of which one you need)
