Hey guys, John here with RealTruck.com. Today, I want to show you how to install these AVS Tape-On Vent Visors on to this 2014 GMC Sierra.
All right, are you all ready for this? First thing we're going to do is we're going to roll the windows down on the pickup, so let's get those down, and get ready to put these on. All right, the next thing that we're going to do after we get our window down is just kind of get a test fit idea on our visor, and as you can see here sometimes you need to put a putty knife under here to raise up on this mirror cap a little bit. On this one I can just pull it up a little with my thumb, and it will go right on, so we're just going to, kind of, give this a little test fit here to make sure that it's going to line up the way we want it to, and it looks good.
Now, we're going to take our alcohol prep pad, which is supplied in the kit, and we're going to clean the painted surface area where we're going to attach our visor. Okay guys, the first thing we're going to do with this visor is we're going to take this end piece of the backing off of the 3M adhesive tape, and then we're going to, on each end, we're going to peel back about two inches, and we want to make sure that when you peel it off you leave it sticking up like that, so you can get a hold of it. Then, we can go ahead and attach our visor to our truck.
Put it down on to the metal surface, going to push down on it a little bit, going to hold the end. Grab our tape that's sticking out, and peel it, and then just kind of press down along the edge here, and there you have it, that's how you do the front one. The back one, you do exactly the same way, so we're going to put the back one on, and then we'll show you what it looks like when it's all done.

The last thing to do is to roll the windows back up, so let's get the windows rolled up, and let's just see how this thing looks all done here.
