Description from the creator

In this episode of the 5050 project we apply touch up paint to dozens of rock chips on this 1991 Honda CRX. It was super cool to get the original OEM touch up paint with the car, still in liquid form! So we put it to good use.

Touch Up paint is a specialty craft in the auto detailing industry. Many people simply use the included brush to blob it on. We use a specific touch up tool to apply the paint inside the rock chips to have finish that looks as factory as possible.

Here's the tools we used:
Gold Touch Up Pen: amzn.to/2HcmhYc
3mm Touch Up applicators: amzn.to/2DXANB6
Sandpaper: amzn.to/2PTtXkM
Tire Marker: amzn.to/307d9eR
Touch Up pen with scraper tip: amzn.to/2VZdNvG

In the next episode we'll be performing paint correction to the paint to remove swirls, scratches, and oxidation. Stay tuned, it's everyone's favorite part of an auto detail.

Our shop is located in Stayton, Oregon and we also have a satellite shop in Salem so check out our website or call for more info.
