How to care for phalaenopsis orchids

***MORE INFO BELOW***
This is like an orchids 101 video. However, phalaenopsis orchids are only one type, and there are many, many more to consider!! Don't worry about that, for now start with these guys and try to care for the phalaenopsis orchid you already have.

This advice is based on my experience and mistakes, and there is more than one way to care for a phalaenopsis orchid!! My advice works for me and I encourage you to find what will work for you and your growing situation.

A FABULOUS youtube channel for orchid information is found here:
youtube.com/channel/UC84mfcCFGDPeeBhKbG8dijQ

That is Danny, aka Missorchidgirl. She is wonderful, sweet, and loves to answer questions.

I am also a member of orchidboard, found here:
orchidboard.com/community/

This board is LOADED with information, and you might find it overwhelming. I suggest browsing the "beginner" posts for a start, and branching out and exploring more later.

Additionally, the American Orchid Society has lots of information online, and you can give them a google to try to find more information.
