In London there is a constant demand for council houses, and a constant supply of ones that have been abandoned… and when you see the inside you won’t be surprised why. Gary and Luke are some of the council extreme cleaners that make these properties habitable again so that families in need have somewhere to hang their hats.

Today this extreme cleaning team are fighting the filth in a small property in Dagenham, which has been completely overrun by pigeons. With feathers, nests and droppings scattered all over the place, even breathing the air could cause serious illnesses and infections. But for ex-soldiers Gary and Luke, danger is all part of the daily grind and using their military precision and kitting up with the right equipment, it’s nothing they can’t handle.
