Please refer the steps to install appium through command line:

a. Install Java
i. Set JAVA HOME Path
b. Install Eclipse
c. Install Android SDK
i. Set ANDROID HOME path
d. Download node. Js from nodejs.org/en/
e. Open command prompt and run npm install -g appium
f. Run appium -v on command prompt.
g. Run appium & to run Appium server.
