Are the rigid rules of modernism killing your creativity? It’s time to demand beauty back into the built world.
Trained as a modernist architect, the author once followed the masters—Le Corbusier, Richard Meier—until travel and self-reflection revealed the truth: The soul has been stripped from our spaces. We are surrounded by painfully rigid, heartless structures that leave us feeling empty.
This book is a passionate Manifesto for Architectural Rebellion. It is a fierce rejection of soulless design, glass panels, and the constraints that trap architects and designers in a cycle of mechanical, uninspired building. The Vision: Freedom, Form, and Fluidity Inspired by the spirit of Baroque ornamentation and the organic flow of nature, this volume is an experiment in breaking free. It argues that sculpture, beauty, and art are human rights that must be restored to our environments.
