Hi, and welcome to another tutorial on a movie maker. Today I will show you how to add captions and how to manipulate and style a bit those captions. It's a very easy tutorial, so let's see this. I will first import some video of my squirrel, my standard model, I use in my most of my videos, I will hit play and you can see this squirrel eat this nut. Ok. So, to add captions you just go to the home over here in the home tab and over here that says title captions and credits you got captions just click add captions. And if you, for example, lost the vision of your toolbox over here in the right side just click this expand the ribbon or a hit ctrl+f1 to expand this. Okay, let's just head back to the tutorial. We add a caption I would just do this again for you to see over here just click add captions and you can add here super squirrel. Okay, and if I hit play, you can see this captions beneath our squirrel. You can also design this caption by going up here and you can just click edit text and you can click inside this video so your captions are selected and you can change your font here for example, you can change the size, size you can change over here so, I will just do this to, for example, okay. If you got this break font wrap you just need to drag this one up here. You can position this in a paragraph in this box in the left or in the center or on the right side. You can also adjust transparency. And you can bold this I will just unbold my caption, and on the right side, you have this effects. So if we just hit play I just apply this effect. You can preview this effects by hovering over them and you can see many more effects by clicking this little arrow, I'm sorry, this little arrow over here and click more and you can choose some effects over here. I will choose, for example, something like this. And if I hit play from the beginning you can see this fancy intro of a super squirrel. Of course, this one is not on the center of our video if we want this to be on the center of the video we just need to pull this little knobs over here. And select this to be in the center and now, our text in this is in the perfect center. Just hit play, and you can see this. You can also if I hit play for a time, our captions disappear after 5 or 6 seconds so we need to expand the duration of our caption. To do this just click this, double click this caption over here and you have your toolbox, and for example, our video is 10 seconds and we want to be our caption also 10 seconds, so we just add 10 and it will convert to 10 seconds all the way to the end. If you, for example, put 20 seconds, it doesn't matter because the video is 10 seconds, so you can also write, for example, one minute. It doesn't, it doesn't have any effect on this. Of course, you can adjust the start time, for example, you want to start after 2 sec delay, from the beginning. Ok, let's hit play, and it's coming after 2 seconds of a delay.
