How to add Grid View to Google Meet with the Grid View Extension

This much needed extension allows you to see all of the people in your Google Meet meetings. It gives you control to show those with cameras, viewing yourself in the grid, and highlighting those participants who are speaking.
This is great for teachers who are meeting with their classes or who have open office hours.

Shows everyone in a Google Meet - implementing Chris Gamble's terrific userscript [1], just packaged as a proper Chrome Extension so that we can push it via GAdmin to our faculty and students. The first two numbers in the version reflect the current version of the userscript implemented in the extension. If I add features in between, they'll get minor bumps after the second dot.

No data is stored by the extension, it's a purely cosmetic script. No extra permissions are required except access to meet.google.com. You can view all source code on the public repository [2]. =======================================
