Adjusting the closer speed on your LARSON door can help if you're having issues with your door not shutting completely.

If your closers are operating either too slow or too fast, there are adjustments that can be made. Open and close the door to check the operation of the closers. The closer cylinders have an air bypass design to close the door rapidly during the last few inches to ensure the door will shut completely.

To adjust the main travel speed, turn the adjusting screw or adjusting knob on the end of the closer clockwise to slow the speed or counterclockwise to increase the speed. Do this approximately a quarter turn at a time, opening and closing the door after each turn to check the speed. If your model has two closers, adjust them one at a time. Make sure that the closer not being adjusted is disconnected from the door. Then, repeat for the second closer.
