How to annotate your notes with the SCRIBZEE® web app?

SCRIBZEE® lets you scan and manage all your handwritten notes, but did you know that the SCRIBZEE® web application also enables you to annotate your scans?

Do you want to highlight important information in a note to make it stand out better and remember it more easily? Have you realised that there is a small note missing from your scan and you would like to be able to add it digitally? It is now possible with the Annotations functionality available on SCRIBZEE® Online.

So, how to access it?

Go to SCRIBZEE® Online: app.scribzee.com/
Log in then find the note you want to edit. Click on the crayon-shaped icon located at the bottom to the right of your note. You are now in annotation mode.

A “Tips” window appears at the top right. Follow each of the tips to discover step by step all the possibilities offered to you.
On the left you will find the annotations menu. It will allow you to access several tools:
• The underlining tool lets you underline your notes to identify the important elements of your note. To use it, click it. Then, you just have to click on the note and slide your mouse to the right, then release it. You can choose the colour of your underlining tool and create your own colour code.
• The ruler lets you draw lines on your notes: ideal for crossing out or underlining whatever you think is important. It is used as a highlighter.
• The A-shaped icon lets you add text. To create a text area, select the A icon, click on the note and slide/release. Add the text you want to add. You can edit the colour of your memo and reduce or increase the text size.
• Finally, the eraser lets you create blank rectangles so you can erase a part of you note that you will no longer need.
• The arrow lets you move or edit the size of your shapes or text zones.
• The trash lets you erase an annotation.
• The rounded arrows let you cancel one of your actions or restore it.
These tools will let you customise your notes to suit your preferences and needs. Ideal to complete and update your notes over time!
When you leave the page, your changes will automatically be saved and visible in the web version of SCRIBZEE® and on the mobile application at the same time.

After annotating your notes, you will have the option to select them or not. Thus:
• With the web version: Depending on whether or not you want to select the annotations, return to your note and tick or not on “See annotations"".
• With the SCRIBZEE® mobile application, on your notes including annotations created using SCRIBZEE® Online, you will be able to view your annotations or make them disappear by hovering over the eye-shaped icon. When you share a note in PDF format, you will also be able to decide if you wish to share it with or without your annotations.
