Description from the creator

Let's be completely honest, work can be stressful.

SOMETIMES the pressure just gets too much and we lose our temper with a co-worker.

This will happen at some time in your career.

But how does one repair the damage once the ‘blow up’ occurs

Here is a few tips:
Be honest with yourself:
Is this an ongoing problem then you need to seek out strategies to reduce this happening.
If this is ‘out of character’ then fellow workers will see you responding to the situation and the impact will be less.

Apologise:
The next thing you’ll want to do is apologise as soon as possible after the occurrence, so you can lessen the amount of time that others would be reflecting about it and discussing it with their colleagues.
According to research an effective apologies have six components:
•Expression of regret
•Explanation of what went wrong
•Acknowledgement of responsibility
•Declaration of repentance
•Offer of repair
•Request for forgiveness
The researchers found that the more of these components included, the more favourably others responded to the apology.
