This is the problem: Many times you want charts or formulas to automatically be calculated and update as you enter in new data over time. However, with the basic functionality in Excel, this won't happen. Fortunately, with the table feature in Excel, you can easily accomplish this.

This is why it is important for you to solve it: If you enter in data and it doesn't update your charts or automatically calculate the formula, then not only will you have to go back in and manually update everything, you risk the possibility that you may forget, and then you could be working with incomplete and incorrect data.
