How To Avoid Miscommunication | Mindset Hacks
ChannelCristina ImreDescription from the creator
We all have our mindset filters and in communication, if you want to avoid miscommunication they count tremendously. There are many ways to avoid miscommunication but the listening and speaking filters are two that are way easy to apply from day one.
The responsibility in communication always relies on the communicator, not the receptor. That is why knowing if you are a literal or inferential communicator will help to avoid mistakes that can cost you headaches and even cash in the business. It's part not only of the communication skills but also leadership skills. Because we have the tendency to expect the same way back as we communicate.
Many times, that's not the case and we need to learn how to listen and how to delegate properly in order to gain what we want.
Learn how the two, the literal and inferential ones are different and use this mindset hack by talking the receptors' internal language, not yours.
