This method should work whether or not your current account is a Yahoo, Hotmail, AOl, or any other type of email. You will need to google how to allow POP3 access on those accounts.

This is very useful for when you want others to access your mail without giving them your password to your current one. Once you create the duplicate you give them the user ID and password to access the new account. Just make sure you turn off your POP3 triggers if you don't intend for them to keep getting all your current mail.
