How to stop a car smoothly driving-school-beckenham.co.uk

In this video we not only look at how to stop a car but also how to do it smoothly. A common problem when first learning to drive is how to brake in a car without it being bumpy. When you brake the weight of the car is shifted to the front and the back raises up causing the jerky feeling. Hopefully this video will show you how to stop a car gently.

To stop the car smoothly: Be prepared to ease off the brake slightly (about the thickness of a pound coin) just before the jolt happens at the end of the stop. But then brake again to ensure that you stop completely.

Smooth braking will give your passengers (especially the ones on the back seat) a much smoother journey!

Hope this little tip helps!
