Description from the creator

How to calculate the number required to achieve a target percentage when the total also changes.

This is an elementary related rates problem where the numerator and denominator of the target percent simultaneously changes as you accumulate more points, wins etc.

Therefore it is required that we set up an algebraic equation to accommodate the two terms changing at the same time as we get more points. In this example we cover the scenario of wins on total games equals some target percentage.

It becomes evident that we cannot simply find the percent of total games required to reach our target percentage and call it a day. This is because as we play more games to accumulate more wins, the total games also changes at the same rate.
