Hey guys and girls it’s Nathan Birch and just talking about some basics questions to answer for people on YouTube. How do you calculate yield?

What is yield?

Yield is the percentage of return, or what you get as return on your property or purchase investment or any investment. SO there we are just talking about properties today. Let do some basic number, I am going to do very basic number here, so just hang with me. Since we got a property and it rent for $200 per week that times 52 weeks’ equals $10,400

That is $200 x 52 = $10,400, so that is your rate return per annum. You have your purchase prize of $100000. So $10,400 over $100000 which is just a very basic number that I have come up with, that will be 10.4% return per annum. That’s a good return

Let say the purchase price was $200000 that will be 5.2% per annum. That’s so cool.
