Description from the creator

The popular calculation of the "1 dog year = 7 human years" is misleading and different breeds age differently, with small dogs in general living longer than large ones.

The larger dog reaches senior years sooner than a small breed dog and will have the associated health issues earlier.

According to the American Veterinary Medical Association:
- 15 human years equals the first year of a medium-sized dog’s life.
- Year two for a dog equals about nine years for a human.
- After that time, each human year would be approximately five years for a dog.
