How to Change YouTube Username/Channel Name on PC or Mac 2018

Open YouTube.com and sign in to your account. Then click your profile icon in the top right corner. Select Settings. Beside your current username, click Edit on Google. Erase your current username, then type in what you’d like your new name to be. When you’re done, click OK. To confirm, click Change Name.

Keep in mind that you can only change your YouTube name 3 times every 90 days. Also keep in mind that your YouTube username and channel name are the same. When you change your username on YouTube, this will change the name that appears when you comment on other people’s videos, as well as the name on your channel if you post videos yourself.
