This video shows how to check the signal strength of a DirecTV satellite for notice on common errors such as 771 Signal Loss and how strong different satellites in the sky (99,101,103, and 119) are. If they are low, this could be the reason for the signal loss, but if not, call DirecTV for further solutions. If you are getting a 775 error, I will be showing a fix in the next 5 days. This shows how to check the signal strength on the newer DirecTV layout, H version. If you have an D version receiver, the settings will definitely vary, so comment in the description and I will have a solution.
