If you have a sponge you use in the kitchen after a while it may start to have a odor in smells kind of like mildew and the smell me even be on your hand after you use it and on your dishes they may stink with a nasty odor as well.
—You may want to use a weaker solution of bleach if you want to have the sponge last longer.
-Also please don’t mix the wrong soap with bleach, some may not mix well, please read the labels and understand if it is the right soap before mixing with bleach.
sponges that have been wet for a while may grow bacteria germs which may go in it and may start to smell maybe like mold or mildew and have a bad odor and does not seem very healthy for people. One way to clean it maybe to have the sponge wet and put it in the microwave, please be cautious to not start a fire. another way that I show you is to use bleach and soap and let it soak, and the cleaning solution for a little bit maybe around a minute or so and then you need to thoroughly rinse the bleach and soap out of the kitchen sponge and it should not smell bad. It is good to get rid of germs and bacteria and sanitize your sponge.
