This is how to clean your skateboard/scooter griptape.
This will NOT ruin or damage your board in any way! Skateboards are covered in a layer of lacquer that prevents water from soaking into the board in short periods of time. This won't harm your board if the Windex only sits for a minute. Windex is also key because it has a higher amount of alcohol, that will evaporate much quicker than water.
