Want to save over $100 a year on repairs? Try cleaning your trumpet on a monthly basis; it only takes twenty minutes or less. If you perform this maintenance a minimum of once a month you can increase the life on your horn, save money in repair bills, and avoid unnecessary health complications.

If you have any difficulty with any of these steps, DO NOT try doing this yourself. Do not try moving stuck slides, valves, or mouthpieces. This will only result in further damage to the horn. If the horn does not play after you have reassembled it, please consult a certified repair technician.
