How to Collect Pond Insects

In this episode of the insect hunter Jason goes to a local pond to see what kinds of insects he can find. Jason showcases some techniques and tips so you can go and do this yourself. He even runs into a nasty insect that may or may not cause him trouble. Watch this episode to find out. When collecting remember that using forceps is important because many insects can bite or sting you. Jason also shares tips about how to avoid chiggers which will often live in grasses and plants near water.
