They are non-negotiable, and provide the commander and leaders visibility of the current state of unit training readiness. Accordingly, they appear on the weekly training schedule. Training meetings facilitate the top down/bottom-up flow of information. Training meetings are a mechanism that commanders use to manage training events week-by-week and ensure the unit stays on course to attain training goals and collective task proficiency.
