Description from the creator

Want to know how to make a digital homeschool portfolio? In this video I will show you how to make an easy digital homeschool portfolio using your smartphone! Yes, your phone!

What do you need to include in an annual homeschool portfolio?

*** Gather 3 samples from EACH subject. One from the beginning, middle and end of the year. These samples should be their best work that shows growth throughout the school year.

*** When documenting each subject, take a picture of the cover of the book, table of contents and the dates you completed each chapter/unit, etc.

*** Reading list or log. It can be as simple as taking a picture of library receipts for each child.

*** Any extra classes your child took during the school year. This includes co-ops, online classes, etc.

*** Extra Curricular Activities such as dance class, hockey, music lessons, etc.

***Field trip log (I keep a running log with the date, where we went and an overview of what we learned on the field trip).

*** Pictures of field trips or learning. Unschoolers & young children use a lot of pictures to document learning along with explanations of what was learned.

Please note that this video covers portfolio requirements by the state of Florida. Each state has its own homeschool requirements. If you reside in a state other than Florida, please refer to your state guidelines.

If you reside in Florida and need an annual evaluation I would be happy to meet with your family and complete your evaluation. Please email me at [email protected] for further information.
