How to Create a Footer Widget in WordPress

Follow The following steps to :
Step1: Login to the WordPress Admin
Step2: Go to Dashboard.
Step3: Click on Appearance, then click on Widgets.
Step 4: When you look at the Widgets page you will see that there are several columns. On the left, you will see the available widgets. Underneath them, you may also see Inactive widgets. To the right, you will see the areas where widgets can be used: the primary sidebar, the content sidebar, and the footer widget area.
Step5: Drag the widget to Footer
The widgets area of WordPress is a drag-and-drop operation. Look for the Pages widget. Click and then drag to the Footer area at the right.
Step 6: After adding the widget to the footer area, click on the field labeled Page Title. Type in the page title that you won't use in that location.
Step 7: Select Static Page. When you add the footer, if you do not exclude pages, it will include all of your pages. You can find the page ID to use for the excursions in the widget by going to Pages, then editing the page. the ID will be in the URL at the top of the page.

Once you have completed adding the page title and the exclusions, then you will have completed the footer. Click on SAVE in order to save your Footer entries.
Footers are useful entries that can be used to provide navigation links for your viewers.
