Description from the creator

Predatory insects need pest insects in order to have food. To become a better organic gardener, it helps to be able to ID different types of insects at each stage in their life cycle. In this video, you'll see larvae, pupae, and adult ladybugs eating aphids (pest insects) on the same quince bush. Also, there are ants "farming" aphids on the same quince bush! Rather than getting rid of the aphids with the blast of a hose or an organic insecticide, we allowed our quince to become a ladybug "factory" for the rest of our garden. The ladybugs will eat all of the aphids on this bush within 7-10 days before moving on in search of food in other areas of our garden.
