🎬 About this Video
A lot of you asked for a more advanced version of my earlier free custom-inputs video, so here it is. In this one I show you how to add custom user inputs to a product page with real logic behind them: custom pricing rules that adjust the price based on what the customer picks, and conditional logic that shows or hides options depending on previous selections. I use the Bold Product Options app for this (an affiliate link, and I explain honestly why an app makes sense here: some of this needs back-end code you simply can't run from your theme files). We build an option set for a custom print product (material, frame, frame color swatches, image effects), wire up conditional logic (hide the frame color when "no frame" is selected), clean up the layout with custom CSS, and finally hook the extra cost into the real product price using a Liquid snippet identifier. I also share how I think about validating a product idea cheaply before investing in a custom app.

🔎 SEO Description
How to create custom product options with custom pricing rules on Shopify. This tutorial builds advanced product page inputs using the Bold Product Options app: dropdowns, radio buttons, color swatches, and checkboxes that adjust the product price, plus conditional logic that shows or hides options based on earlier selections (for example hiding the frame color when no frame is chosen). It also covers cleaning up the layout with custom CSS and integrating the extra option cost into the real product price by adding a unique Liquid selector to the price snippet. Includes advice on validating a product idea cheaply before paying for a custom app. For Shopify store owners and developers building configurable, personalized products.
