How To Create Volume Without Teasing or Backcombing

Have you ever had a client who wanted curls and volume from the roots to the ends, but soon as you started to tease for volume you ended up having a flat/straight top/crown and then curls...?😅

You can actually achieve that lift/volume from the scalp while curling, without the need to tease and mess with the curls after. 📌Simply have the section of the hair brushed by over-directing, and have the curling iron sit 2 fingers away from the section line( off-base curling). 📌 The distance from the section line to the curling iron will actually be the height of the lift from the scalp! 📌Take a close look at the difference between the hair piece that was over-directed and curled off-base, and the one curled on-base - huge lift/volume difference! 📌 Products used: The Get Layered Hairspray from Sexy Hair
