How to Delete One or More Contacts on iPhone 2018

Learn how to delete one or more contacts from your iPhone or other iOS devices like iPad or iPod touch with this helpful video tutorial. We'll show you the quickest and easiest ways to delete one or more of your iPhone contacts.

To delete a single contact, open the Contacts app from your home screen. Scroll through the list to find the contact you want to delete, then tap their name to open details. Tap Edit in the top right corner. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, then tap Delete Contact. To confirm, tap Delete Contact at the bottom.
If you’d like to delete multiple contacts from your iPhone, you can repeat this process for each contact you want to delete, or you can download an app called Groups to help you delete multiple contacts simultaneously. You can download Groups for free from the app store.

Once you’ve installed the app, tap Open to launch it. When prompted, allow Groups to access your contact list. Select All Contacts. Now tap the circle beside the name of each contact you want to remove. Once you’ve selected the contacts you want to delete, tap Choose Action. Then select Delete Contacts. To confirm, tap Remove from My iPhone.
