How To DELETE YOUR Discord Cache & Why You Should

In MOST Countries you can get into a LOT of trouble for having certain images on your PC or MAC. Just because you didn't download them or save them, they can still be saved on YOUR computer!
In this video I will show you some options and tools to remove potentially inappropriate or even unlawful images, videos and other media from your Discord cache.

The cache is present on most installations of DIscord and is normally used to speed up loading times and make things generally quicker. So if you have been into a chat room or channel the images in that room will be cached on your computer and you probably didn't even know that is was happening as a background process.

You can manually remove the cache files in Windows from the directory
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\discord\Cache

Or you can use the Cache Monkey application to do this for you. There are lots of other features that this app can do such as view the cached images and files in a handy explorer style window and you can erase or save them if appropriate.
