How to do a patent search using Google and EscapeNet.

I show you a few examples and ideas to find out if your inventive idea has already been patented by someone. If you have an idea you want to patent you will find this search method very helpful.

Most inventions are simply IMPROVEMENTS on prior art. For example, the tire has thousands of patents, yet you know the tire is a rather simple "machine" if you will. However, there are endless patents on tread design, bias design all the way down to the tubeless nature of many.

The other EXTRAORDINARY benefit of searching is that you can take much of the text of one patent and apply it to YOUR inventive idea where you show your IMPROVEMENT on the prior art.

Search with Google Patents:
google.com/patents

Search with EscapeNet
worldwide.espacenet.com/advancedSearch?locale=e…

Search with the USPTO:
uspto.gov/patents/process/search/
