Many people these days want to create freedom through financial stability. Take the principles that we talk about in the video, jot them down on a piece of paper, and go make it happen.

A mentor told me a long time ago the concept of working smarter, not harder. For a really long time I didn't really understand what he meant and I just continued to wake up every day and work hard. I know a lot of people, and maybe even you, work really really hard every day and show up and grind it out. But for whatever reason they still don't have any financial stability and if you ask them how to double their money they have no idea how to do it. Did you know that most successful people most millionaires in America don't have ONE stream of income, they have seven streams of income!

The first strategy is saving more money. This is one of those ones things you've probably been taught your whole life. Your parents taught you a penny saved is a penny earned and to save more money. Dave Ramsey is even still preaching that a penny saved is a penny earned. You've likely been taught your entire life by your parents, teachers, colleagues, and friends that to save money all you have to do is sit in your house and completely minimize spending. Cutting some of these things out could do more than save you money— they could made you healthier or give you more time too.

The second way to double your money is having a side hustle.
It is to a coincidence that the average millionaire in America has seven streams of income. There are so many people in the world right now that have a second stream of income and it doesn't take away from their primary job or from their time with their friends and family. Instead, the luxury of extra income allows them to create freedom. Whether you use Poshmark to buy and resell clothes or own a lawn care or pool business, there are tons of side hustle options.

The third way to double your money is to make sure that your credit isn't costing you. Most Americans have some sort of debt, whether it’s credit card debt, student loan debt, etc. The reality is a lot of times the debt might be costing you a lot more money than you think it is. I would really encourage you to take a good long hard look at the amount and type of debt that you have. Determine if that debt is helping or hurting you. There are several ay-to-day credit monitoring platforms like Credit Sesame and Credit Karma that will give you a snapshot of your entire credit history.

Last, but not least, the final way to double your money in 2020 is simple investing. So many people think investing takes all this time and energy and you have to learn about the stock market or you have to learn about real estate or you got to learn about a good mutual fund or a good etf, etc. However, it doesn't have to be difficult or complex. You can definitely double your money by investing in something as simple as your spare change into an app like Acorns. You can also invest your savings at the end of the day. I’m a firm believer that saving money isn't going to make you wealthy. With inflation, having money sitting in a savings account, with the exception of your emergency fund.
