Google Earth is a GIS Application that represents the Earth in 3D, based on the satellite and aerial imagery. It maps the Earth surface by superimposing Satellite images and other GIS Data onto a 3D Globe, which allows users to visualize the landscape from various angles.
You can zoom and glide over stitched together satellite photos of the world. Use Google Earth to find driving directions, find nearby restaurants, measure the distance between two locations, do serious research, or go on virtual vacations. You can also use Google Earth Pro to print high-resolution photos and create movies.
