With brush in paw, Matthew sets out to paint “the shapes and colors of joy.”" Mr.Smith wants young people to read and use literature as a launch pad to create images in their imaginations as well as reading to be informed. To make his drawing Mr. Smith uses various shapes, lines, colors, and simplifies the drawing into a step-by-step process. This makes it easy for young children to follow along with his videos. His one-stroke/two stroke coloring method enables any child to get the most color out of their markers. Mr. Smith's method for drawing helps any child to create a successful work of art of which they can be proud and anxious to share with friends and family.
