Asteroid April 29: How tall is it, when does it hit Earth and what danger is there?

A rock between 1.8 and 4 kilometers in diameter will fly over our planet tomorrow, although it will pass more than 5 million kilometers from Earth.
The sky is full of peculiarities and events capable of astonishing anyone whenever they take place. This 2020 is a special year in terms of astronomical events such as the 'Supermoons' that took place at the beginning of the year or the 1.8 and 4-kilometer diameter asteroid that will fly over our planet tomorrow.

In early March, the NASA Center for Near-Earth Object Studies announced that it had classified object 52768 (1998 OR2) as a 'potentially dangerous' asteroid as being 'large enough to cause global effects' . This asteroid has captured the attention of astronomy lovers who have even created a countdown that will come to an end tomorrow.

How tall is the asteroid?
The asteroid that will fly over the Blue Planet tomorrow measures between 1.8 and 4 kilometers in diameter. Despite its large size, the aerospace agency wants to remove iron from the matter and they have clarified that there is no risk of impact. In fact, over the next few centuries, 23 objects have been included in the list, and only one of them, the '2018 VP1', could impact this 2020 against Earth, and with very low possibilities.

When does it reach Earth?
The already famous asteroid will fly over our planet tomorrow and will do so at exactly 10:56 am Spanish time and it is estimated that it will pass at a speed of 31,000 kilometers per hour.

What danger is there?
None. There is no need to be alarmed at all by the asteroid that will fly over our heads tomorrow. The one that has been labeled as "potentially dangerous" is not synonymous with a collision, and in fact, it will pass a distance greater than 5 million km from Earth, which is 16 times the Earth-Moon distance.
