What do you do if you're a presenter and you're not getting the respect you deserve from your audience?

0:55] Take note that respect is earned. The audience is careful with how much respect they give, so you should be understanding of that.

There are 4 Parts of Building Respect with the Audience

1) Be credible. Ask if they can trust you? As for me, I can share personal things about myself or my family. You can share this with your audience. Give them another side of you aside from your success.

2) Build safety in the room. Create that comfort in the room and offer a good ambiance.

3) Be authentic. This is your chance to share your challenges and how you overcome them. People will like you for that because you are open about it.

4) Let them process the class. Do not rush your audience and let them ask you questions. You want them to learn and it takes time. Be patient with them.
