How To Easily Fix Your Electric Water Heater!

What's up, guys. So my hot water kept running out mid-shower, and it was driving me nuts. Nine times out of ten, especially if you have hard water, the problem is just a "mountain" of gunk and minerals built up on your heating element and at the bottom of the tank. It sounds like a huge pain, but it's really not.

In this video, I'm walking you through the entire process. We'll kill the power (seriously, don't skip this) , drain the tank (go grab a snack, this takes a while ), and yank that heating element out. I'll show you my little shop-vac rig for sucking all that nasty crap out of the tank and how to clean the element until it's shiny again (hello, wire wheel! ).

This is a fix most guys can knock out in an afternoon, and it'll save you a ton of money over calling a plumber. We'll get it all buttoned back up, filled, and get you back to having those long, hot showers.
