Description from the creator

Taking place stream-side I show Black-bellied salamanders-up close, along with being sure the distinction is made between reptiles and amphibians, salamanders and lizards with some comparing and contrasting. The life cycle of Black-bellied (Desmognathus quadramaculatus) Salamanders is discussed and gill-larva along with gill-less and actually lungless adults are zoomed in on! The difficulty in identifying salamander species is described and how herpetologists take photos for identifying and taxonomic purposes is discussed. The number of species of salamanders in the Appalachians is highlighted and where you can find salamanders is described.
