Ellie touches on Welsh history, language and key phrases, geography and key sources. If you suspect you have Welsh ancestry Ellie has all the genealogy know-how to help you find them! Lastly, she shows you how to put this into practice with a case study on tracing her Jones ancestors in Wales. A key part of Welsh family history is the surnames: derived from old patronymic surnames, Ellie shows you how to spot them and what to be aware of when searching historical records with them.
