This method avoids loging into your router portal and it avoids using the command prompt.

2022 UPDATE: Please note that this video is performed on Windows 7 and is quite outdated. Your results may vary.

DISCLAIMER: You must have a windows PC connected to the WiFi for this method to work. This method is best used to conveniently find the password for a new device if you already have a device connected, and have forgotten the password.

Additionally, this method for the most part works with windows 7. I am not sure if it works on XP. I tried the same method on vista, and I was able to get the same results, but I was not, however, able to view the characters. This may be due to the fact that I was not on an admin account when trying to view the passcode. For best results, be on an admin account.

A quick little tip on how to find you wifi password WITHOUT going to your ip address within your browser.
