------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Applications needed for this video and websites:

1. windowspro.eu/fix-windows-8-1-freeze-checking-f… (It's actually not an application it's an .exe file)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Go to the above link and download the update KB3112336. If you do not know what bit you are using you can check simply by going to the start menu then settings then "PC and devices" and at the end click "PC info". In the "System type" if you see 64-bit download 64-bit if you see 32-bit download the 32-bit but if you see an x86 do not worry it's the same as 32-bit.

2. Once you downloaded the .exe file DO NOT OPEN it yet because it will say to you "Checking for updates" and it will get stuck forever like Windows Update but if you open the .exe file accidentally you can kill the process by going to the task manager. Now go to the Control Panel and click the first one that says "System and Security" and then click on "Windows Update" after you clicked it on the left side you will see "Change settings" click that and here on the "Important updates" section change the option from "(recommened)" to "(not recommended)". Do not worry you can change it after you finish with the updates.

3. Now go back to the .exe file and you can open it safely without getting stuck forever. Once opened it will pop-up a message saying to install it click "Yes". At the end it will require you to Reboot your computer.

4. After the installation is done go back to Control Panel and change the setting from "(not recommended)" to "(recommended)" and click "Check for updates" and you are done!

If you have any issues tell me in the comment section and i'll try to help you as much as possible
