Accounting is the most important subject a lot of courses. You must know, it is your major subject or helping subject. Mostly it is an accounting part of Engineering class due to its importance. Everybody is doing accounting practices. Even he did not go to school one day in his entire life.
The difficulty of the accounting subject depends on the level of your class.
Some student is studying accounting in O-level exams, college, and university.
Some student is studying in professional courses like Chartered Accountants, Certified Management Accountant, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, Bachelor of Business Administration, and a lot of others.

If you will follow a few points, you will easily get A plus in your accounting class.

3rd High light the key terms,
You must high light the key terms in your notebook. It will helpful for second-time revision of the topic.
Write a formula in a separate page in your register.

Accounting student must focus on accounting entries and calculations of the amounts.
An accounting student doesn’t have a grip on accounting entries, it is like a fish without water.

4th Identify your weak concepts area. And other students as well.
Being a student you must know about your weak concept topic in accounting. Then you will try to clear your concepts. As you clear in the concepts, the probability of your success will higher.

The combined study is very effective in accounting as my personal experiences. If you have good friends, then you must combined study 1 day a week at least.

7th Mock Exams
Before you went for accounting exams. You must do mock exams. You will get an idea about your understanding of accounting and time management during the exam. The test bank and past paper will also really helpful for your success.
Revise your previous chapters after regular intervals. Revision of the previous chapter acts like, fresh oxygen. You will get defiantly a plus in your accounting class.
